This notice explains what personal data LearnDrive Driving School keeps about you, why, and for how long. I am the data controller.
What I keep
- Your name, email, mobile number and date of birth (to contact you and check you're old enough to drive).
- Pickup addresses you add.
- Your lessons, notes on your progress, your test dates, and what you've paid.
- Payment screenshots or statements you upload.
I do not store your driving licence number or a copy of your licence. I just tick that I've seen it in person.
Why
To provide lessons under our contract, to keep accounts as the law requires, and to keep in touch about your lessons.
How long
- Payment screenshots: deleted 12 months after I accept them, or 30 days after I reject them.
- Money records: kept for 6 years for tax, with your name removed if you delete your account.
- Everything else: until you ask me to delete your account, or 2 years after your last lesson.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete your account from your profile page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Photos and reviews
I only publish a pass photo or review if you've given me written consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
