These terms apply to all driving lessons with LearnDrive Driving School. You'll be asked to accept them when you register and again whenever they change.
1. Prices
Lesson prices are shown on the Lessons and prices page and in your account. The price you pay is the price shown when the lesson was booked. Prices may change, but never for lessons already confirmed.
2. Paying for lessons
You pay after each lesson by bank transfer or cash. Use your payment reference so I can match your payment. Please pay within 7 days. If a charge is unpaid for more than 7 days you won't be able to book new lessons until it's paid.
3. Cancelling or moving a lesson
You can cancel or move a lesson free of charge up to 48 hours before it starts. If you cancel within 48 hours, or you're not there when I arrive, you may be charged the full lesson price. I'll always consider genuine emergencies.
4. If I cancel
If I have to cancel a lesson (for example illness or the car breaking down) you won't be charged, and I'll offer you another time as soon as possible.
5. Block bookings
Block booking hours are paid in advance and used before normal charges. If a block has an expiry date, unused hours expire on that date. If you stop lessons, I'll refund unused hours at the block's hourly rate, less any lessons taken at the full single-lesson price.
6. Refunds
Payments for lessons you've had are not refundable. Credit on your account is refunded on request within 14 days.
7. Using my car for your driving test
You book your own driving test on GOV.UK. I'll tell you when I think you're ready. If you want to use my car, add your test date in your account as soon as you have it. Test day includes a warm-up lesson, the use of the car for the test and the drive home, and is charged at the test day price. If I don't think you're ready, I may decline to provide the car — I'll tell you why and in good time. If your test is cancelled by DVSA or the examiner, you won't be charged for the car.
8. Your responsibilities
You must hold a valid provisional licence, meet the eyesight requirement, and tell me about any medical condition that could affect your driving. Bring your licence to your first lesson.
9. Complaints
If you're unhappy with anything, tell me first and I'll try to put it right.
